This two-day course provides participants with the basic knowledge of airport and especially ramp operations through classroom discussion and on-site observations. On completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the basic operations at the airport and basic ramp operations at the apron. Participants will be able to familiarise themselves with the safety and security awareness in airport operations, apron driving regulations and safety practices.

Eligible applicants may apply for refund of 80% of fees after completing this approved course, subject to a maximum of HKD30,000, under the Professional Training and Examination Refund Scheme (ProTERS) of Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF).
