This three-day course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of baggage handling operations and management, helping them to identify the roles and responsibilities of different parties, e.g. system owners, airlines, handling agents, etc., in the baggage operations at HKIA. Standard measures for quantifying performance and system enhancement will also be covered. Examples and industry practices will be cited for discussion.
Eligible applicants may apply for refund of 80% of fees after completing this approved course, subject to a maximum of HKD30,000, under the Professional Training and Examination Refund Scheme (ProTERS) of Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF).
