The HKIAA has upgraded its Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulator to a cutting-edge system developed by LES Info. This system reproduces true-to-life ATC scenarios for both aerodrome and radar control training.
Our simulator features 18 custom-made controller stations and 36 pseudo pilot stations, enabling comprehensive joint simulation training across tower, approach, and area control processes. The aerodrome control simulation utilises 5 X 360-degree selectable vertical LCD panels for each controller's working position, capable of simulating various traffic or weather conditions to meet diverse operational demands.
The radar control simulation is highly adaptable, allowing modifications to function keys and adjustments to meet users' specific needs and ensure it accommodates the unique operational practices of different regions. The system includes separate recording and replay servers with voice recognition technology to enhance post-exercise briefings, and track history data can be imported for improved practice and editing.
