Our series of courses are beneficial not only to managers, supervisors, and personnel from civil aviation administrations and air traffic control service providers who are responsible for the planning and management of air traffic service resources, but also to university students and graduates who are interested in joining the profession of air traffic control.

Boasting extensive track records in managing one of the best and busiest airports in the world, the Aviation Academy invites aviation experts from Hong Kong International Airport to offer a series of strategic management and airport operations programmes. Our seasoned instructors share their practical experience and comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of airport functions with mid and top level executives.

Participants taking crisis management courses are given first-hand experience in dealing with emergencies, learning from veteran rescue professionals as they learn how to build and maintain effective and efficient operational responses to incidents.

Our comprehensive syllabus will benefit airport operations and management personnel, from civil aviation administrations and airport authorities to airlines and organisations supporting airport management and ground operations.

Minimising potential threats to safe and secure operations remains one of the industry’s chief concerns. Therefore, it is crucial to have effective and efficient measures in place for handling such risks. Aviation security personnel must also understand the full range of threats in the current operating environment and how to manage them. The discipline of Aviation Security and Safety provides timely information and training for addressing today's challenges. 

Our training programmes partner with a pool of qualified aviation security instructors from ICAO and ACI to conduct a wide spectrum of professional training, at both the local and international levels, to give participants the tools they need to ensure operational security and safety

The Aviation Academy has established the new Flight Training and Engineering Training Centre to conduct specialised programmes in empowering talented individuals to pursue their careers in civil flying and aircraft engineering.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art flight simulator and training offered by highly-qualified professionals, the Aviation Academy will partner with local tertiary education institutes together with approved flying schools in the Mainland or overseas to launch a series of commercial pilots training programmes, to nurture pilots and aviation engineering professionals for Hong Kong and around the region.

These programmes aim to benefit not only personnel from airlines and aviation engineering services, but also university students and graduates interested in becoming pilots and engineers.
